11/9/2024 – Aleksandra Goryachkina triumphed at the Shymkent Women's Grand Prix, clinching first place with a remarkable 7/9 score, finishing just ahead of top seed Tan Zhongyi. Goryachkina's performance included five consecutive wins, which positioned her as the clear leader going into the final round. Pragg's devastating loss - The Underdog

11/7/2024 – In the European Club Championship, lower rated players occasionally faced GM superstars, such as Erigaisi, Gukesh, Abdusattarov, Praggnanandhaa or others. And in the very first round, Pragg had to deal with IM Francois Godart from Belgium, rated 2377. In a Sicilian Rossolimo, Godart had a pawn less, but strong counterplay.
